The BOLDer team passionately believes that knowing where things come from and learning about how to wisely use our natural resources can make you more optimistic and less anxious about our future. We are all about raising the next generation to love our earth and all that it provides!
We believe that by creating enlightening, engaging, and fun material for children, we may help everyone learn more about our natural resources. We think it is especially important for the families of the people who have dedicated their careers to the construction materials and mining industries.
We believe that anxiety is a national malaise, especially in children. Possible fears over climate change, fuel use, and carbon footprint can have a harmful impact on children and may discourage—rather than encourage—interest in our natural resources and future problem-solving.
We believe we can create beautifully written stories, poems, puzzles, and games that entertain, engage, and are illustrated to spark a child’s imagination. Our magazines are designed to encourage independent reading, reading aloud, and being outside to discover the world.
We believe it is important to learn where things come from, the history of exploration and discovery of our natural resources, and that the responsible use of these resources includes learning about botany, math, chemistry, physics, exploration, discovery, invention, and land restoration.
We believe that there are incredible stories to be told of the fabulous people who make up the construction materials and mining industries and compelling tales of their dedication to be stewards to our earth's resources.
Bron's been around a long time working with mining companies and sustainable farming. Her work has been all about telling their stories and helping bridge the gaps of understanding about the important roles they play in our lives. She prays often and her favorite day is tending to her bees and digging in the dirt.
Tina taught elementary school for 15 years and just being around her for five minutes you get the vibe she has a gift for loving children into learning. Tina took the leap to be a part of our team because she really believes that there is an urgent need to help children be less anxious about the future. Our team benefits daily from her tender and caring approach to “what will be fun for kids to learn.”
Resident storyteller in the group, Rustin also has an ear for what needs to be said and what doesn’t. He approaches everything he writes, voices and edits like he is creating something for his best friend. We can’t wait for you to hear his voice in the Three-Legged Dog and His Pet Duck. He is a treasure on our team.
Wow, what can I say? Firstly, he is one of the most positive and encouraging people you’ll ever get the chance to meet. So that’s pretty great, right? Well, how about adding that he is a real-live GEOLOGIST! Does it get any better than that? He geeks out at all the cool stuff we cover in our pages. With 20 years of industry experience, he brings the scientific and real-world perspective to all the subjects we cover.
Seriously the most Renaissance Man you'll ever meet. He is skilled at almost everything he touches. He builds, he designs, and most of all he imagines. And his amazing talent is seen in the design of our beautiful pages. As well as every remodeling project he gets his hands on.
Graham has this awesome talent of seeing the perfect picture to share. He is not only our resident photographer, he is also our editor for film and audio. You know how a picture is worth a thousand words? Well, we are hoping our audio supplements in our magazine are worth even more!
